creating Hotspot for Windows using Command prompt

windows support whatever you can imagine, though this feature is not vividly visible but it can be evoke for personal use. hotspot in windows allows you to share your internet connection with your ipad, iphone, android and windows phones respectively. creating this hotspot in windows is easy and it takes just a few minutes to create.

 

How to create Hotspot for windows .

It is very simple, open command prompt by clicking "start" type "cmd" right click on cmd and run as an administrator.
in cmd environment, check if your windows support hotspot using this command "netsh wlan show drivers" scroll to support network type if it shows "yes" then hotspot is supported for window and you can proceed.

.to create hotspot for windows in general used this simple command "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=hotspotname key=12345678"
the hotspotname and key can be change any name you wish but the password should be 8 minimum in length.

after typing the above command you the command prompt a succesfull feed back like:
the hosted network has been set to allow.
The SSID of the hosted network has been successfully changed.
the user key  passphrase of the hostednetwork has been successfully changed.
if your feed back is the same as the one given above then be ready to used hotspot for your window pc.

any time you want to turn the hotspot on, simply type "netsh wlan start hostednetwork".
and this to turn it off "netsh wlan stop hostednetwork".

allowing the hotspot to share internet connection

mobile device may detect your windows hotspot but may not be able to access the internet connection automatically. so, to share internet connection,
click network tray,
right click the broad band that manage the internet connection (that brought the internet access) and click properties,
go to sharing menu and tick "allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection",
select "wireless network connection 2" on the home networking,
